Coastal Equine Veterinary Service was founded in 1996 by Dr. Craig Sweeney. The practice began with a handful of clients and a commitment to provide quality care with a very personal touch. Dr. Sweeney’s mission was to treat each horse and horse owner as though they were family.

Today Coastal Equine employs 3 full time veterinarians, a support staff of 4, and provides veterinary services to thousands of horses. Our methods have evolved as we have grown in size, but our goal remains the same: Quality service with a personal touch.

Each member of the Coastal Equine team is committed to a high standard of customer service and is focused on the health and well being of our extended equine family.
